Anther + Filament of Stamen:This is a photo of the anthers and filaments of stamen on a lillie. The stamen of a flower is the pollen producing organ that is made up of the usually two-lobed anther at the end of a stalk, or filament, protruding from the center of the flower. The stamen is where pollination takes place.
