Pollinator:This is a photo of a bee pollinating a flower in my garden in Nantucket. Pollinators are “biotic agents that move pollen from the male anthers of the flower to the female stigma to accomplish fertilization.” Bees are fuzzy and have an electrostatic charge that help in collecting pollin in pockets called scopas located in their hind legs and abdomens.
